Default Bank Holiday Monday

A plan...

Early start (4am ish)

Head up to Ribblehead for 5:30ish some nice rolling shots on virtually empty roads, some beneath the viaduct, etc

Up over Buttertubs for some even better backdrops

Home in time for brekkie (or we could all invade the Redbeck )

Anyone fancy it?

We need at least 3 cars to make it work.

Possibly earlier.
To take advantage of CLEAR ROADS and GOOD LIGHT CONDITIONS.

Trust me on this.

Did a similar thing with Dazza a couple of years back and it was THE best run EVER!

Okay, this is how it's looking at present...

1 - Sticky & Dazza
2 - MickWRX
3 - JB24
4 - Al (TBC)
5 - Corradoboy (TBC)
6 - Raf
7 - STi300

Meet points

1 - Dave's workplace, Wakefield

Meet at 3:50am for departure at 4:00 on the nose

2 - Meet up with Martin and Raf at that lay-by thing just before Ilkley at about 4:40

Head into t'dales, paying close attention to sheeps, wabbits and skwirrels.

Video and stills camera's armed and ready.

Route to be disclosed on the day, but the ideal would be to do buttertubs towards Hawes, Hawes to Ribblehead, then back the same way.

The intention is to get back to Wakefield and be tucking into a Redbeck Special by 10am, having got loads of nice car-to-car tracking shots, etc.

There's a map kicking about somewhere, Dave'll be along soon, no doubt.

Basically, it's 1/2 mile from M1J41

As a possible last-minute alteration, would Sunday be better for most pepople, or are the majority happy to go with Monday as planned?
Just been chatting to Martin, and Sunday would suit him better as he works late Sunday nights. Weather looks to be better then too.

Both days are dodgy as Sean has Football on Sunday and we may be taking him to Manchester for some keeper training / Katrina shopping in the Trafford centre on Monday....

Okay, how about a full on run on Sunday at the arranged times, then a nice, sedate photosesh Monday morning at a more respectable 8am on a quiet road somewhere in Yorkshire?

Who was it said summat about pleasing all the people some of the time...

I know, before anyone steps in to correct me...

Abe Lincoln, and it was FOOL all of the people, but I'm paraphrasing, okay?

D'you remember the days when Chris would have stepped in there to tell me I was wrong before I had the chance to correct myself.

Ah, fond memories
