Scooby newbie
Hi all
Just picked up my first impreza today and so far I am loveing it
. I have been into jap cars since I past my test some five years ago but now I have graduated to true a performance car. Found out about you guys from a handout in the showroom. Looking forward to doing a few of the show's this year may be kicking off with the NBO at lightwater valley, I have seen some info in the past about this event just woundered if it was a good day out 
. Here is a pic of the car
I am a Leeds lad so will hopfully be able to make it to some of the local meets as well.

Welcome LCS....
We're definately going to the NBO as we have a stand up again this year. Some may be going the night before for a camp over with some beer & a BBQ, the rest will be comihg up the day after in a mega 60+ convoy...
The event gets bigger every year and there should be more stands than ever before.. and with 500 scoobs on display
The convoy up should be an event in itself with the sleepover another great reason to get involved with simply a superb social event..
Look forward to seeing you at any meet we have coming up

Welcome matey I guess the guy from Bowetts actually did put our flyers out The cynics amongst us thought they'd be in the nearest bin at Elvishtown 
A few of us from Leeds. You just missed last nights main monthly meet, but there's an early-bird run on monday morning, a visit to the SMACS boys next thursday and the Jap meet at Squires a week on tuesday where you can introduce yourself.

Well I bought the car as already having chip, tuned, full magnex decat, lowered, boost controller and gauge fitted by the previous owner with an uprated stereo installed, but it took me as long as it did to get home before I added a voltage stabalizer from my old car. I already have a ground kit and uprated horns ready to be fitted once I figure out how and where, then a couple more gauges and a bit of jap electronics will do for now 
well we will see.

) just need to figure out the wiring for the horns as the replacements have a +tive and -tive terminals and the standards are just a single plug. Although I was in halfords today and they had some reduce led neon kits 
was tempted to buy a set possible blue would go well with the car. . I will definitely be coming along to NBO so this will probably be my first scoob meet.LC Scooby
