Popped to a Morrisons store near Middleton to get some cash for Sean's football gala this morning and I could hear sirens and saw a Copper Chopper overhead...

Pulling out of the reasonably busy car park and some scumbag, driving a crapped out Fiesta and followed by a Volvo Patrol car, flew around the corner toward me at 40-50, with screeching tyres, just missing me..

The lowlife then proceded to swerve in and out of the parked cars at insane speeds to try and shake the cop... With women, children & OAP's about at 10am this was simply crazy..

I pulled out and stopped at a side part of the car park and he vanished from the carpark... few minutes later the sirens died off and the Chopper flew away..

If you have any info it would be great to know what happened to the phlegm... (Paul? Steph?)

I've had a few beers, but I hope the guy died a horrible death in a fireball... Goddam scum made my blood boil..

I've had no beers (unusually ) and I hope he suffered a fate worse than that.

Suppose the good thing is he didn't hit anyone in the car park. Christ, he might have got a few hours community service if he had.

 

There's nowt wrong with miggy, it's just the scratters that live there. He was probably late for signing on.

I feel you need to be careful about how you label people based on where they live, I see a mint 04 STI and a green wagon on Miggy regularly. These people may be interested in WYIOC, but as a new member (off the road still !!) , you need to be open to all classes. I don't have an affluent lifestyle and I make sacrifices to have a (half) decent car, even if it is getting on a bit. Sorry to ramble on but Mozzers is in Hunslet....
P.S. What feedback was there from the meeting at the Foxglove last month??

My cousin is a decent sort and drives a Lotus Esprit Turbo whilst living in Miggy, so I get what you're saying. There are some good in every place, it's just the ratio of good vs. scum that brings a whole area down and unfortunately it's human nature to stereotype and label people. I live in Pudsey and we have more than our fare share of chavs, gets much worse just down the road in Bramley and Armley though.
