So sorry It seems you were right,it not the turbo at fault,but a miss firing piston,or valve,does anyone here knows of a good subaru specialist locally that can do piston repair/replacment?? Im new to these cars,and I feel like a right plum,having bought it just over a week ago for £3.5k!!!
But it seem ok when I tested it!!

Pennine Subaru, not sure where they are (never used),

Scoobyclinic, Chesterfield.

 

Just had a estimate over phone,told I'd looking at around £1000 for the work to be done
Is this about right??
