Default Tyre fitting

Anyone know someone to fit me 4 225/40/18's?? Need to get some new tyres fitted to my spare alloys, as I don't think my existing one's will be legal after the trackday

Got a price of £350.00 for a set of Vredstein (sp?) Ultrac's. Unless anyone knows any better places than Tyre's 4 less in Leeds?

Si our very own Dan (D-an-W) can fit tyres in Shuddersfield, shouldn't take 3 blokes to stretch them out like it did with Mick's ultra low profiles hopefully!

Only other place I'd say for Tyres is Motorsport Wheels on the Coal Road, as I recall I got them for £90 each for Toyo S1s for the same dimensions as yours but that price was fitted so if you're getting them fitted elsewhere this should bring the price down a fair bit.

I've used Motorsport wheel too. I got a compete set of fitted 17" Toyo T1-S's for £300...

I'd suggest keeping it in the family and try Dan first... I will next time..

If Dan can't do it, Raf knows an AA mobile fitter who'll usually do it for the price of a pint he says. Raf's still away for a week or so yet though.

Have a quie word wih the manager at T4L.

You should be looking at paying around £70 a piece for the tyres (£330 with VAT)

Had them on the Evo and still have a pair of t'front of the Scoob.

Will be needing 4 17" myself soon, maybe they'll offer a group discount?

What size are you needing? I'll ask if they can do them any cheaper

Cheers for all the help. I may try Motorsport Wheels and see what price they can sort me, although they have'nt been too helpful so far over the two Goodyear F1's I have with massive splits on the sidewalls , so don't really want to spend money there at the moment!

I haven't had any problems technically with MSW but got peed off with their pricing policy when I got the 18's

They would almost match the price I'd got from Mytyres but then said they'd have to charge 20 quid a corner for fitting & balancing. They got the tyres in and I rang up a few days later to pay for them before my old man went for them fitting to the rims and was told by someone else on the phone "oh, we don't charge for fitting & balancing..."

Screwed out of 80 quid for a "price-match"
