just about to buy a newage backbox for my classic , but have to arrange collection from midlands,
sods law if i buy it someone will say i had one kicking about in garage, save me trapsing about .
4 inch from newer model required apparantly they do fit classics!

I have a PD WR sport BB, not 4" though, smallish and oval.

Sorry to tell you this but it won't just fit on, the rear hanger I believe is different so it either needs moving to a different position or bending, I would be best to check if it will fit before getting one, esp from the midlands...look on the fleabay to see the hanger position and compare with what you have..good luck

Ali ,as far as i am led to believe its just the rear hanger as you say , but hangers can be moved , as long as pipe path is correct!

 

how much you wanting to pay? is it just the back box or centre section as well?

As Ali says, the hangers are different but if you're handy with a soldering iron...

I think they changed them just so they weren't directly interchangeable classic to newage and vice versa so they could sell more...

Somewhere I've got my STi b/box if you want to have a look at the hanger positions but it might need digging out from under a load of stuff in the hut
