The Norris car is not a Drag Car, that thing is the real deal All Rounder IMO, and Simon's driving is getting better every event.
Any pictures of me drivng Marks car?

I wasn't at the meet and I've not seen it in the metal. But I've seen the odd video and seen enough write ups to not doubt the Norris's pedigree, speed or Simon's ability. And I agree it's the real deal and I wish I owned a fraction of it's ability. But were talking Time Attack over several handling circuits here for table position not OTR or on the strip. Again a little guessing, but the 25 must be quite a few BHP down on the Norris, as it was against Stewart Whyte's Escort at Knockhill. But the Escort was picked off in the corners and under braking, but eased past on the straights where its power advantage came through. The 25 does seem to have quite an edge on the shorter, twistier circuits, where Silverstone is arguably a faster flatter circuit where the higher BHP will count. The Norris was .9 faster at Silverstone in June but 2 seconds slower at Rockingham. It's a shame the Norris had a DNF at Knockhill and the The Time Attack site doesn't post a time for it.
My Drag car statement should be taken in this context (and certainly not in any derogatory way), though I will add that the Norris's strength seems to lie in SWB drag launches. This is where I've seen most vids and pictures.
We have to make the distinction between road, track and drag strip. The 25 is more setup and geared for handling and racing and it uses it's lower Power superbly, where I'd argue that the Norris is more effective on the strip or long straights where it's enourmous power can make the difference. OTR? There'd be very little in it I'm sure. One thing is for sure.. the 25 leads the Time Attack tables.
For now...

Alan, after i posted above, i did read your "biased" bit and thought, bo11ocks i misread that one
You have to watch the difference in abilities between car AND driver to understand what is making the T25 Race Car so good. Phil Keen is a superb driver, you only had to watch him take Copse ***** out. It really was a shame the engine expired, as Phil could have sewn up the tables i guess.
The next event, i believe is supposed to be at Donington on 30th September, Time Attack only, no drift.

You have to remeber with this tuner class cars, there not really road cars... are the, you'de be hard pushed to get in and go for a drive anywhere... pretty much un-useable on the road, not just becouse of the setup but becouse the things are maxed out power wise and right on the edge ofa very expensive POP at any time... that to me is a race car with company funding to make the thing even turn up at a track day... Its a bit like Forrest's scoob... yep its mighty quick, it may loom like a scoob and every body would like there scoob to be as quick, but in the process it ceaased to be a Subaru some time ago, and the same with the Norris EVO... all the Evo drivers are saying look the evo was the quickest, but at that level of Tune\modification it really isn't an evo , in the same way a BTCC car isn't in any way like a road car its derived from other than it looks the same... I think Al's correct to a point but Litcho's car is a pure trace biased car, and any car with race setup like that has no reference against a standard car with some trick bits on... after all i could build with the same budget a race setup Vauxhaul Chevet, would be discussing wich was the quickest then...
just a rambling thought...
not pi$$ed of i didn't go at all...
BTW the £38k atom out of the box was 2 seconds slower a lap than the 900bhp evo... :-) and faster that almost anything else... another thought, more dazza biased though ;-)
