If I can borrow some clubs, and you promise not to laugh at me, then I'm up for it.
Dave C and Matt are keen golfists too, so I dare say you've got four already.

Sneaky delete of the double-post It caught me out too on another thread
Simon, I'd have thought most amatuers like me would be able to make do with 1 wood, 1 iron, 1 putter and 4,782 *****

Bought that PS2 game with the little club and the gametrak thing last week.
I'm now a digital Tiger Woods, but somehow don't think it's gonna translate itself to PGA levels once I'm stood on a proper tee....
Can you get buggies with PPP?

im a member of a local course!
you could play there sometime , only ever seen 3 scoobs in car parkat one time!
would look well full of scoobs!
would have to be mid week tho as comps on weekends!
sticky they don't need ppp when you are tramming down a wet ,45 degree fairway

As a few are interested I'll look into the costs etc . . any of the golfers that have posted have any preference for courses? I was thinking a pay and play, as the golfing newbies will be without golf shoes etc.

Stand well behind the Sticky when he's armed with a club.

Its a pay and play, although we do need to book tee times. £18.50 Monday to Friday, but discounted to £14.00 after 3pm which maybe the best idea as people don't have to miss a days work.
They have a dress code, which is basically smart polo shirt, trousers . . no jeans, tracksuits etc. They said for those without golf shoes to wear normal shoes - no trainers tho!
Anyone have any ideal times to play? I'll start the list and give it a few days (gives me time to practise ) then arrange to book some times.
If anyone has any other suggestions for courses let me know.
