How much do we have in the charity kitty?

I know it won't be much, as it's early days, but this is what it's here for, is it not?

I THINK WE CAN ALL ADD TO THAT £50 AS THE NORTHERN CLUB RAISED £3000 SO I THINK WE CAN DO BETTER THAN £50 AS WE HAVE ABOUT 70 MEMBERS

None of the WYIOC, and it looked like just the one Scoob and a Mundano in the report.

Hmmm...... Starts thinking of a proper WYIOC turn out en-masse at LGI!!!

Hopefully, fingers crossed and all that, next weekend may be too late!

Plus we're at Blyton on Saturday.

Was thinking perhaps one evening this coming week.

SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE IF YOU ASK ME. WE ARE A CLUB SO WE ALL SHOULD DECIDE..
Chill out dude!!

We can start a different thread up if your that offended by other WYIOC members doing something they agree about, but on this thread.

1) Yes we are a club and have been for a long time, what makes this club great is that events meets and runs can, and are organised by a few, or a large majority.

2) yes we are a club, and its all about doing things how they want to do it, far better than a dictatorship.

If my car is not done by Thurs can I passenger with you Sticky please.

Matt.. it takes too much time for everyone to get through the thread and posting...It's easier to post initial suggestions and see where it goes ... If only one person is going to do it then that person represents the club...

I made a few suggestions and it went a few different ways with Sticky suggesting others.. no one else was coming along with something better, so that's the way it went... no harm in that if we're trying to get something done quickly... other doo's and events get organised that way...you just jump on the bandwagon so to speak unless you have a strong suggestion that changes the swing of the idea...

Unless I misread your post???

Your suggestion still stands and is valid.. a collection should still go ahead... this is about getting a card and small club pressie to him.. nothing to do with money...

The club has a tried and tested formula & strategy that has meant we've stayed away from the clipboard... The club will never go down that route whilst I'm in the chair..

We may not be the biggest or richest club and we may not suit everyone... but we've been going for a good 3 years+ and we've grown, achieved some good things and had some damn good times from this..... and most importantly, true longlasting friendships...

So, it looks like Thursday. Just need a time at the TP and someone to get the model...
Any other ideas?
