Default New Member with gauge trouble

Hi not an official member yet but hope to come along next Thursday,I know theres not many viewing this time of the night but i need some help with some gauges. I want to fit some Oil Temp/Pressure gauges to my 95 WRX.

If the money tree were in flower at the bottom of my garden i would buy the Defi ones that apparently screw into a adaptor that is above cylinder 3 (is this the case with my car) unfortunately it's looking a little bear at the minute so i have decided to buy some Auto Gauge gauges. Is there an adaptor that will allow me to fit these gauges to cylinder 3 and if so how hard is it to do?

Or is it ok to fit a sandwich plate between the oil filter and use this? a mate at work has done this on his MR2 Turbo with no problems.I will be mounting them in a pod on the A pillar, so what is the best route for the wiring?

Sorry if you have heard these questions a thousand times, but reading other posts has left me more confused than ever.

Hi there I think the plate in between the oil fiter is ok and easier look on fleabay and search for the plate, you should find one for the subaru probably cheaper than shops etc..

LMA050 M10 X 1
oil temp Adaptor for above no 3 cylinder
£4.01 plus vat from demon tweeks.
LMA067 oil pressure t piece for allowing use of original press switch as well
£5.95 plus vat from Larkspeed at leeds.
i ordered one adaptor with new gauges from demon tweeks , but i would have thought easier to order both from larkspeed as they are both LE MANS items.
