Run suggestion - just testing the water
As per the title, this is just an idea and I'm after a little feedback.
I've been considering doing a run, but something a little different, a MIDNIGHT start, heading off to a 24 hour cafe for a bite and a cuppa, then back.
Don't have any particular venue or dates, but I was thinking a Friday or Saturday night in order for a day or two to recover before we're back to work (Most of us, that is)
Anyone fancy it? Any suggestions for where to go?
Would really like to do this as something open to other clubs / areas, perhaps along the lines of the BBO or NBO if the numbers were there. Just a thought for the future.
...The Midnight Big One... Hmmmm.

Redbeck was the obvious and immediate choice, and if it's just gonna be a few of the clubs members then it'll be fine (and only 5 mins away from home )
If Stu's coming it'll be more like Midnight Cowboy

Yes up for this as working most weekends at moment so not getting to use car at moment, nothing better than coming in from work having a couple hours of sleep then going for a blast in car.

So, after chatting about this last night we're looking at doing this on a club level within the next few weeks, just to test the feasiblity of it, and then perhaps opening it up and posting in Northern or general and hopefully ending up with a nice event (The Pyjama Big One)
We need to find a 24 hour cafe somewhere, with a large car park (Shouldn't be a problem, as most will be truck stops) it has to be a decent drive out though, so somewhere around 50+ miles away. (Lakes? Dales? Peaks?)
If we can get something sorted for late November, see how it goes and then look to doing it big-style around March it could end up being the first big meet of the year
Thoughts?
Venues?

To bring this back to the top . . are we still looking at doing this? Might be the first chance of me new motor getting a run out
Although that said, with my luck I'll probably still have the bleedin' courtesy car
