very sad he needs all your support
sad news, our son paul eighteen has been very badly injured in a car crash, he was in the back of a corsa that crashed into a river on monday morning, he has broken his back in two places and it is very remote chance that he will ever walk again, paul is like me scooby mad and was wishing away the time until like me he could own his own scoob, he loves the scooby family and loved the recent blackpool big one, i know that all the members on here will wish him well he has the internet in hospital and is on the site daily
thanks mick and gill jefferson

Sorry to hear that Mick, hope your lad makes a full recovery.
What are the circumstances of the crash? Who was driving? Was anyone else involved and hurt? Is your lad going to claim against the driver?
On reading the above, the assumption is that it's a bunch of teenagers going too fast/too drunk, but this is not always the case. Hope everyone is ok though.

Mick & Gill. Sad news indeed.
Myself & the club send our thoughts, love and best wishes to you all. Especially to Paul at this devastating time.
You can count on us to support and help in whatever small way we can and would appreciate constant updates on how he's getting on.
We hope that he pulls through completely and, against current asessments, makes a full recovery and we see him again at the meets as soon as possible.

Sorry to hear about your son.
Accidents like this are terrible and just serves as a reminder of how fragile the human body really is. Hopefully though this will be another case of showing how amazing the human body is by him making a full recovery.
Please pass on my regards and best wishes!

But I thought it best to let Mick, Gill & Paul get to grips with the accident its consequences & Pauls immediate future, then we can get in touch again when we know what help and support is required.

Mick and Gill have often gone to great lengths to get down to our meets, it's about time we went North

sad news
hi WYIOC
sorry to say paul has now been told he will never walk again, paul has taken the news very well better than me and Gill, he has now got a battle that i know none of us would ever want. the offer of the mid monther is a great one just put it on hold until he is more mobile and you can join the TTS lads and lasses in a drive past and then a meet and the nearby pub, paul will be allowed over there further on in his recovery and i know he will get a great boost from the cars he so dearly loves, thanks for the messages of support he has the internet from his hospital bed and it has really lifted his spirits reading all the posts
thanks again paul mick and Gil

Mick, Gill. I'm devasted for you all and my (our) thoughts are with you both & Paul.
Paul - You're a plucky young lad mate.. I excpect to see you proving them wrong before long..
We'd love to get some people together to come up for the a drive past.. if Decembers too early, then let us know when in the new year.
I've got a card I'd like to send on once the club has signed it.. can you PM me the Hospital or Home address so that I can end it on please..
All the best ..
