Roger Albert Clark rally - Saturday 18th Nov
If you fancy going to see some of the old rally cars the RAC is heading into the N Yorkshire forests on Saturday.
I will heading up there with my boy - probably the Dalby forest area just north east of Pickering , on Saturday morning - if anybody wants to join us.
The website for the rally is here: rogeralbertclarkrally.co.uk
The rally starts in Harrogate on Friday - should be loads of escorts plus the Lancia Stratos was due to be running (though I doubt it will get much further than Harrogate!)

Spoke to a guy in the next village who is running in the rally on the Saturday.
Looks like the Woodyard in Dalby will be a good place to watch - as he says they come though twice and approach downhill. For those that don't know to get there take the Dalby forest drive entrance just north of Thornton le Dale, into Dalby village and turn right - they will probably be collecting entry fee at the start to the drive - and everything should be signposted.
I willl be up there from 10am - if you see me come up for a chat. 6 foot tall with red hair and beard with a 7 year old son in Subaru overalls - should not be too hard to spot!!
