Soften the vinyl by using a hot air gun, just be careful not to get it too hot as it will scorch and become brittle, not to mention the fact that you could damage the paintwork!
Peel of the heated vinyl, the ease of this will depend greatly on the quality of the material, cheap stuff will come off fairly easily, whereas an expensive cast vinyl may come off in tiny bits.
Clean off any remaining glue with Tar & Glue remover (AutoGlym do one, but it aint cheap) then go over the whole car with a decent colour restorer (Again, AutoGlym) to finish off.
If you can't find any glue remover then I can let you have a bit, but it costs me almost £50 a tin so go steady with it
