help please i recently bought daves wrx and recently it has devolped a problem while driving it suddenly dies without warning as if somebody has taken the battery out then after about half an hour of trying it will start again anybody had the same problem thanks

 

Bryan, sorry you're having troubles Can't for the life of me think what's happened, apart from the recent flat battery may have done some mischief to the alarm/immobilser or maybe Blackjax

thanks dave ,after getting the AA out again they have found the problem, it was a faulty connection box under steering rack from the imobilizer, pushed it together wrapped a cable tie around it and it has solved the problem . thank god

 

Glad to hear that, would hate you to think I'd sold you a duff after the flat battery incident just a couple of weeks back. Hopefully the last hitch for a while, but I suppose something will go sooner or later
