Default Winter Wonderland - A Thank You

...to Sticky for some excellent organisation and superb route planning.

Also a big thank you to the 17 who turned up to make it such a superb day out... Mick (theboy) turned up for his first WYIOC run and it was good to see Ian (bandit) & Family again in their fabulous Evo....

Not even the rain, agitated villagers ignorant drivers & wound up ramblers damped the spirits...

With only one incident after setting off and Mark having to drop due to his little girl coming over poorly, putting some slight downers... the day turned out to be a superb round trip driving day with great roads and some excellent Walkie Talkie banter...

The coffee at Squires finished the day off perfectly..

No doubt there'll be some pics, vids & commentaries for those who couldn't make it.. and here's looking forward to the next dales trip..

Was ALMOST a perfect day. Were it not for the Tommi(not)Makinnen antics of one of West Yorkshire's finest on the J41 roundabout, but the less said about that the better

(Al, did you pop back that way to look for my splitter?)

Thanks to everyone for turning up and making it all work. The junction etiquette ended up working a treat, and we didn't have a single issue wit losing anyone (Must be a WYIOC first)

Excellent roads, which will get another seeing to once the light mornings arrive, very probably the same route, hopefully with less traffic.

Top day

Scott... Physically fine from the food, but £6.25 for a 5" baguette with 2 rashers of bacon

Ian... Christ yer car looks mean

John... or should that be Petter. What was your time for the Ribblehead gravel stage? FPMSL

Simon... can't wait to see the TripeR go when you learn to drive it

Mark... hope the kid's okay mate, sorry you had to leave

Jimbob... try a little less loud pedal, you may find that the car points forwards more often

theboy... Who are you then?

Talkies worked a treat, until the batteries expired!

Yes mate.. Just a few Carbon fragments left.. not even enough to knock a keyfob out of. No surpirise with the HGV's on that part... surprised no one noticed it missing... But it was early, dark, early, raining, busy, early & dangerous to hang around...

Daughters now fine after being sick twice on the way home, she went straight to bed when we got home, and we did not see her again until 3pm. Sounds like we missed a good 1. Think I will have a go at the route sometime soon myself.
