The beast underwent a few mods and several tweaks (thanks Rick!) over the winter. Went upto to see Steve Simpson (mapping God) in Warton yesterday.

It's now "finished" as far as I'm concerned and I don't intend to do any further mods until I've run it for a while

Where is Warton btw and what type of remap was it?

 

It's been remapped for V Power only i.e. No Octane Boosters since they were an extra cost/pain. It's running slighlty less BHP but a new ScoobySmart External Wastegate was fitted so it's producing the same Torque as before as well as a slightly faster spool up.

All the above is to make it more of what I want - a fast daily driver with minimal lag. Warton is near Morecambe so was able to give it a good thrashing on the way back - just to test

Should it go into competition it'll be remapped back for 101 Ron fuel and stripped...

 

It will be good to see this back... in fact... I've never seen / heard it in the flesh in this form, so I'm particularly looking forward to it!!

You need to try the shorter route, in the tom tom trust me well worth it, although it can get a bit scary one a single track road with tractors coming at you..

 

Nope - the graphics are still loud and proud. Can't bring myself to peel off Sticky's finest quality work + I like them - alot!

There's an imposter in the same car park just got a standard Scoob. Never lets on so don't expect a wave off him - lol

 

Hey up Ian, what power did u end up with?

 

Heard loads bout this Car ,notactually seen it flesh yet,apart from when it rocketed past me ,last year just outside York raceway....

 

472 BHP with 472 Torque mapped on V Power.

Able to but it back to 501 BHP + slightly more Torque on V Power + Millers

 

Top marks Ian looks & sounds great .Keep it up.....
