Sorry we didn't get to talk much at the Autosport show, it was pretty hectic on our stand, did you get any pics of the RB ? nice machine.
Did you hear about the Cleckheaton factory ? (another one bites the dust)
I will try and get to a meet and join up at some point so we can catch up.

I came round by the stand but didn't see you - only Jason and the other bloke I didn't recognise. They were nattering to people so I wandered off and didn't seem to get round that corner again...

I hadn't heard about Cleck site - when does / did this happen? I only remember a few from there as it's 7 years since I left . As it happens, I've been speaking to someone from LVB R&D today about someone else's funeral (not somebody from Mintex.) Is this another factory going to Poland or the back of beyond lie R&D did? Does this mean you're affected or are you an "external" supplier?

I took one piccy of the front of the RB - thought it looked like many of the other STis so didn't bother taking many. The insurance bloke on the stand is Tom Butler ("Rum Bottle") who's round our area and has been to a few WYIOC meets a while back. I didn't take the offer up for the trip to the test track - didn't really have 50 quid spare even though it should have been a good do

Will have to get to a meet sometime - haven't been posting much over the last 6 months or so - other things on my mind

It's not been officially announced but I reckon it's got 6-7 months to go, i'm safe for the moment but i'd be stupid to not have the feelers out.
The stand was pretty busy both days so I missed the live stuff too, I wouldn't have minded a blast in the RB, maybe next time.

Thursdays are bad days for me to get to a meet, but i'll try, let me know when your going next and i'll try and come down.

Let me know if you need any pads for your car.

If your talking about Mintex can you tell me if Mick Halliday still works there??? I reckon he would be working in the engineering section.

 

Not sure if he does , i've heard the name before, i'll find out.
