Cheers Stevey If he's already cut it it's a bit late, but I do hope the grain will be running vertically If not, I'm sure it will still look great. You say that's the balance side, if so then the a side grain may look better horizontally.

The Civic looks a hoot. 9300rpm That'd be great fun on track, but after a long test drive in an S2000 a while back, I don't think I could live with it day to day. Then again, at the moment I live with a 1.2 Coarser so it's amazing what people will put up with

Just a quick thank you to Stevey. He came offering advice about where I could source some timber for a project at home, and ended up delivering it, cut and finished

A pleasure to meet you and I hope one day I may be able to repay the favour.

Thanks

Trimmed the left foot to level it up and got it loosely placed. Will fit the wall brackets next week. Gonna take some pics so I can use Photoshop to try out stain colours. With the accuracy of my measuring and your buddy's cutting I could have left less than 1mm tollerance I think

Only problem is, now, I'm told, the TV looks too modern for the room, so, apparantly, we need new sofas and storage units
