Default Aaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhh!

Well just days after returning to the WYIOC fold I've busted my car good and proper.

Rushing out to get to work this morning and reversed the car outa the garage and clipped the drivers side front bumper on the wall and off comes the front bumper.

Ripped most of the brackets clean off, mesh fell out of the grills, glass spotlight cover fell off. Snapped the brackets on the headlights were the bumper screws in at the very front, damaged the paintwork on the wing slightly and a few shatters in the bumper itself.

All in all a very fine mess I have made.

Typically I renewed my tax last night and put 50 quids worth of V-Power in it and now it's gonna have to just sit there til I can afford to fix it.

It never seems to rain for me but it doesn't half pour.

Won't be able to assess if it can be fixed until the weekend either because it's always dark when I get home.

I'm so angry!

Have you been shaking hands with JB?

Sounds like a little of his 'luck' may have rubbed off on you.

Got a feeling I'm guna need new headlights but just for the brackets, the lights aren't actually broken or anything.

Just have to see, hope the weather stays dry for Sunday when I can survey the damage.

Jb the brackets are part of the mold of the lights. I could try using some sort of bonding to put them back on but duno if that would be strong enough to hold. Had some good PM's with prices for lights.

Dreading the amount of damage I'm going to find Sunday. Also noticed yesterday that some paint has flacked off the wing aswell.

Not good!

in the space of 3 weeks I had 1500EURO body damage, power steering pump failure and a rad hose splitting while stuck in traffic.

I have the worst look in the world. The girlfriend now wants me to get rid of the Scoob but I don't want to throw the towel in yet with it!

I could list all the bad things that have happend to me in the last 6-8 months but you would all be asleep reading it!

Thought I'd finally got things going in my favour and now this and it couldn't come at a worse time financially for me.

I have a runabout Fiesta though so at least I'm not car less until the Scoobs back in action.

Just have to do a bit at a time as much as my budget will allow.

In my case folks I think bad things come in 20's never mind 3's!

Well the cars fixed, except damage to the paintwork it's all tip top!

And it only cost me £8.50.

Had my dad make me some brackets, thankfully he used to be an engineer so easy task for him it was.

Still missing part of the wheel arch trim but going to HDC Subaru for some engine work soon so get them to fit some then and should be ok!

Front bumper and drivers side wing is going to need a re-spray at some point but the main thing is the car drives.

Many Thanx to people who have Pm'd me with offers for parts, appreciate the great response.

Doubtful Skywalker,

The car is fixed and runs etc but I'm not happy with the state of the bumper, don't want to turn up in a car that looks like a train wreck! lol!

I also have a Fiesta that I'm doing some work on this week so going to be busy with that.

Thanx for asking though!
