Stevey, I don't think it is. He's still scratching quite a lot and the doc says it's going to be another few weeks before he can wear his boxers again...
He's on the stage 3 medication and he's back to the clinic on Monday to get a swab.. The medication is affecting his sense of reality, so he may start blabbing on about Subarus and how heavy that manifold head gasket is.. he may also go on about fast driving North Yorkshire finest driving roads... just ignore him as he's obviously still in a 'fog...'

Stevey, sorry to keep you in suspense. I've got it positioned and the lights all fitted, but we decided we'd see how we liked it for a week or two before I did the final fix. She's now saying it doesn't go with the room and we'll need to change the decor to make it fit as it's too modern next to our cottage style units. I'll try and get some pics up this w/e, but I've been more than busy running two jobs on top of a great deal of personal sortings out to be done. Everything is settling down now so I should be able to free up a minute and a half somewhere along the way I only have time to post on here when I'm at w*rk, like now
I think it looks well, but I'll get the pics up and open it to public opinion later.

In a Coarser Drove straight past the start of Strines the other day and didn't even contemplate taming the monster The new cars might make it appealing, but whilst I'm in that POS I'd rather walk it

OK Stevey, finally took some pics. What'dya think (everyones opinion welcome). Helen reckons it's too modern for our room, but I like it.
And just to remind, this is what it's like bare...
I took this shot with flash to match the one above out of fairness

Nice work mate...
As you ask, and as a fellow Audiophile(ish), one picky point would be that the overall effect would have been heightened if the speakers had been housed flush to the surround... Right channel looks OK, but there's no room on the left(?)
But it looks a fine install and definitely warms up the bare wall and house brick combo...as well as holding your attention on the screen better...

The old cottage style unit housing the gear is due to be changed for something modern, which will free up space for the right channel, and hopefully give a more uniform aesthetic. At the moment it stretches "classic/contemporary" to its limit, looking more like "we can't afford new furniture as well as the telly", which isn't actually too far off
