40-100 in <4 seconds??
80-110 in 3?

From 300 BHP?

That's the rev counter a because when the wheels loose grip it accelerates REAL fast..

Look at 2:10... It breaks grip and goes from 70-100 in less than a second or so...

It's genuine despite what a lot of folks have said, it did belong to jamie tonks who sold it on and has recently been sold on again, a guy who owned a ferarri test drove it and he didn't end up buying it as it scared him ****less

That run what done in the pouring rain iirc it had a diff and traction control fitted

So why does it accelerate MUCH harder when the wheels let go / are spinning?

Take a listen at 2:10.. you can hear the wheels let go... but the Revs.. sorry speedo... increases from 70-110 in about 1 second

That acceleration is dragster quick... I've been in a well driven atom and that was nowhere near as quick...

Al,

It will be the speedo as it is driven from the gearbox and if the car is fitted with an LSD it will pick up both wheels so the wheels are doing the equivalent of 110mph even if the rest of the car isn't hence it displays 110mph

it is also likely to be KPH - the T16 was not available in the UK

Nice one mate... That explains it.. I didn't think to look at any options apart from the Rev Counter..

No denying it's quick, but it just didn't look right...

Foo mee! It's not difficult to understand. The van does 30-80 in 2 seconds on ice in 3rd.

Well, the wheels do

And Kev, it's in MPH, AFAIK
