A Midsummer Nights Dream Run, the WYIOC Pyjamarama!
Here it is boys and girls, the WYIOC Big One...
DATE CHANGE, CAN EVERYONE PLEASE CONFIRM THAT THIS IS OKAY?
Saturday to Sunday, 9th + 10th June.
We shall be having the first WYIOC Sunchaser Pyjamarama run.
We'll leave Yorkshire some time in the early afternoon of Saturday 23rd, heading for a nice location on the West coast to pitch up for a beach party, BBQ, and a damned good laugh. More importantly, we'll be watching the sun go down over the Irish Sea at around 10pm
Then it's a case of packing everything up and setting off for a nice coast-to-coast run, taking in some of the North of England's finest roads before ultimately arriving at our destination on the East coast in pleanty of time to set up the BBQ, light a fire, sing, dance, chat, laugh, sleep???, before we witness the sunrise at sometime around 4:30am
Of course, being the WYIOC things aren't exactly straight forwards.
Firstly, everyone is encouraged to bring the family along for the ride, the run will be a steady affair, we're not out to break any records, just get from place to place in total safety, and with maximum enjoyment.
I might even include a treasure hunt for the journey
Secondly, and this is the good bit, EVERYONE is encouraged to turn up in ther pyjamas, nighties, baby-dolls, thongs (Mick?
), dressing gowns, birthday suit (Dazza?), basically whatever you wear to bed (But let's keep a modicum of decency about it, eh?)
We need to know numbers as soon as possible, as there's catering to be organised and venues to be arranged (I'll be doing a couple of recces in the near future, if anyone fancies turning them into exploratory early morning runs just let me know
)
So get your names down now.
I'll update this first post with all relevant details as and when necessary, as well as keeping the list up to date.

Sounds like a laugh.
Please no more thongs, iv run out of bleach from scrubbing myself clean after seeing those pics yesterday.

Already off the 1st 2 weekends in June, so methinks this is another no-show for me

If it's on Sunday we should be home and dry for 8am at the latest. Or on Saturday, we don't have to leave until 5 / 6 pm.
If this is still no good I'll look at another date. Really wanting to get everyone out on this
