Default Is it worth the risk???

Whats the point in the scoob....
A rant I guess.. I dunno..

4 times now Ive had to have the police involved with the car on the road. Ive owned the car 3 years.

Last night I was going to pick up a friend to take him to pick his car up after having some work done on it.

As I pulled out of the top of our road to go to the dual carriageway (its two lanes) a citreon saxo pulled alongside me (its two lanes) and then moved towards the side of me forcing me over, no indication. I slowed to let him in but he had to speed up quite considerably to then pull in front of me (instead of slotting into the space behind me .

Immediately after this there is a set of traffic lights and they were changing to red so i slowed and he slowed to wait for the lights. After they had changed to green he just sat there, then reversed a little and went forward so he was then blocking both lanes of the road (it splits straight after for two separate directions to go onto the dual carriageway)

I was going off left up the slip road, well he just sat there so I tried to go round him to go straight on at the dual carriageway instead of going of left and he tried to ram into the side of me, so i tried to go round the other side of him to go off left and he tried to ram me in the side again, so I tried to go round the other side and he tried to ram me again in the side, so i went the other side and he tried to ram me again but i just flattened it and of course I left him.

the dual carriageway was busy so I had to slow and then he was behind me flashing his lights and swerving either side of me so i pulled over to let him by and he tried to ram into the side of me again forcing me into the verge.

I then saw a gap and accelerated and left him again and another car pulled in behind me cos obviously the saxo **** couldnt catch me I then saw him cut across three cars late to go off at the next junction.

By the time I got to my friends I was in such a state, I picked him up to take him to get his car but after being on the road for no more than 5 or 10 mins I had to pull over and let him drive.

I have reported it to the police, I did at the time but they were busy. I had my baby in the car. The police asked if I had independant witnessess.. well er no, its a 60 mph road I wasnt going to stop and ask anyone, my only hope is that somebody saw it and reported it. It was busy is was about 5-50 last night and it was races in York last night so it was busy.

Why? Why do it.. why risk my baby... Im so fed up with it.. this is now the 4th time in 3 years Ive had to have the police involved because of behaviour like this.. whats the answer? sell the car and buy a cliterous or a ****o??

Is it worth risking my kids lives for a car I enjoy??? Just because it offends some people..

It wasnt as if I was doing any speed either as it was a junction and I didnt pull out in front of him or anything.. it has traffic lights on it

sorry

rant over

So if you see a blue saxo reg number S167 BWU might be worth giving him a wide bearth ...

Shame I've still not got this:

You could have borrowed it with pleasure

Being built by the same people that built panzers, and to the same standard, it was ideal for dealing with ***** like that

**** me GIAS that must have been absolutely terrifying for you - are the cops not going round to have a word with this weasel??!! OK it's your word against his but surely it's worth following up - for a start car could be stolen, untaxed, uninsured. Given they seemed to think nothing of trying to ram someone off the road I'd be suprised if they were lawbiding in those other areas.

Did they realise you were a woman - wonder if they'd have had the b0ll0cks to try it if you were a guy? Bit worrying a my girlfriend is going on the insurance next week - although fortunately I'll probably always be with her when she's driving.

There's one thing about boy racers trying to race you but trying to ram you off the road when you've shown no interest in taking them on it just fooking outrageous. Fortunately I've never really had anything like this after 2 years of ownership, seems you've not been so lucky.

Alas it's a sad state of affairs but people are probably taking the p!ss as you're of the fairer sex. It's a tricky one to call, on the one hand you don't want to risk yours and your kids life on the other you shouldn't have you're life dictated to by a piece of vermin like this.

The cops should really follow this up - FFS it's nearly attempted murder. If someone was chasing you round a street like that on foot the cops would take it far more seriously.

scg...

yes he realised I was a woman as when he pulled alongside me he gave me the bird which I ignored... 2 young lads in a saxo.. I dont retaliate.

Taxed... yes as I have checked it on the DVLA website to ensure I got the reg number correct

Nobody stopped to help.. this went on for about 20 long minutes

The only time I tried to get past him was after he had tried to ram me 3 times... then he tried again as i did.. a just flattened it and hope for the best...

I was absolutely terrified and by the time got to alans had to give him the keys to continue where we were going

edited to say.. the cops are going to come round tomorrow if they have somebody spare

dont vandalise cos we dont do that

Default Sorry to hear about this

what's the world coming to ?? Police don't attend cos they are busy!!! EH!! My mate got his pocket picked in a pub in crossgates the other night, my mate caught him doing it and challenged the lad, consequently 9 other lads approached him and told him to leave it so my mate phoned the Dibble and they would not come to the pub where there is cctv and the lad sat with my mates wallet in his pocket....

Go figure!!!

And then there is you driving down the road minding your own business and then some Muppet in a shed tries running you off the road and they will go and see him if they have the time .....!!!!!!

Hope you are okay!!!

I sure it was posted on here but some old guy in liverpool awoke in the night to find 2 ******* braking into his garden shed with all his fishing tackle in, tools etc so he phoned plod and said they are here im my shed now if ur quick you will catch em, the operator told him that all officers were busy and somebody would be round later not happy with this he phoned back 5 mins later and said he had been out and confronted them and shot one, police arrived in 5 mins armed and mob handed caught both burglars and had a word with the old guy about his claims to have shot one.

All he got was a talkin to

RESULT

Pay on the DVLA website to get the owners address, about £10 IIRC then pass the address to someone who isn't too busy to "have a word"

Yep, thats how supermarkets etc get owners details if cars are illegally parked on their property, so they can fine them.

Can i just say that the police wouldn't have been able to attend straight away as around leeds there are an average of about 4 cars per station per shift which is $H!T, also they spend most of their time having to deal with drunken , imbred non tax payers who live life like a jeremy Kyle show in stead of good honest hard working people, whome actually do pay there taxes and deserve a proper service.
Ahhhh thats my piece.
Girl in a scoob Ill PM you and see if I can help.

GIAS. You have to be strong Girl.

Morons like this exist and we have to hope that Darwins rule wins out by wiping themselves off the Earth. Scum & idiots prey on hard working folk as their worthless lives are simply that, worthless.

There's no disputing it was a terrifying ordeal, but you have many freinds here who will help and get you through this. The number of replies you have here is testament to one thing; If there's one thing this club does well, is support its members and friends. There's even people coming from of SNET in general to give their support and wish you well...

Take this to heart and simply don't let the b*stards win. Do your thing and make sure you continue to live your life to the full and not let leeches with no future apart from jail, drugs, alcohol & an early death ruin your enjoyment... there's plenty of good people on here who will help out.. even if its just a few kind words...
