NBO - The Details
Thought I'd bring the details together in a new thread...
Please keep this NBO related so that people can keep up to date with current details and we don't rack up loads of pages.. anything else, post in the two other NBO threads.. ta
If I've cocked up something.. let me know..
Fri Campers
We'll be meeting at the Trading Post at 6:30 PM for a 7pm set off to the site. The gear should already be loaded, but I've left 1/2 an hour just in case.
We should arrive by 8 and be supping by 10 past. We'll be getting some takeaway when we arrive as the BBQ will be a pain....
Sat Campers
Join us straight at the camping site when you're ready.
The BBQ will be up and we'll have enough grub & beer.
Sunday
Pack up early doors and be at the ground before 8.
Stand
The following people are on the stand. People coming straight up on the Sunday should be there early. Your car will be required, shiny, for most of the day.
We have only gone for 12 cars due to space constraints and to show the range of cars the club has...

i know we took ourr name off anyway and we couldnt get to the meeting but i think that the people who had their names down on main list should have given priority over the people on reserves as it was quoted earlier in a thread
i know some people are not going to like it but
its just my thoughts

Grant. It wasn't an easy decision, but the consensus was that we needed to show off a variety of cars in order to make the car side a little more interesting... I did state early on that if we were going to be judged on the day, then we should do something different...
This isn't a normal 'stand' in that space is very limited which allows a closely packed max of 18. We wanted to put on a show of sorts and it was mentioned that 18 randomish scoobs would be pretty normal... so we decided at the meeting to reduce it to a selected 12 to show the different models and to add some other attractions in order to do something different.
It was very much a club vote with people on both sides of the debate and we understood that some people may be put out.. I'm happy to apologise for this as the feeling was that if we're going to go to the NBO, then we should at least put on a show to advertise the club , people and cars...
Anyway, 12 was only a guesstimate as we've never tried fitting the stuff we have into such a space, but we will put as many cars on as possible if the space and layout allows...(the reserve list is not in order BTW)

i might not be able to make this,,,,well i will but not on the friday, day time ,,,to pick the van up,,,
what times the latest i could pick it up ???
as i might have to go to a meeting with work and wont be out of there till 4.30,,and by time i get home ,,have a bath get scott's and my things sorted,its going to be about 630,,so it would be about 730 ish by time i can get over
i thought id let you know,,,so you could get a replacement driver,,just incase.
im not 100% im going to have to go,,,but its better to tell now rather than thursday,and no one to drive it ,and me get linshed at the next meet
i can let you know wenesday night if its looking like im going to have to go,,,but i wont be defo until thursday

Apologies if discussed elsewhere - but what time do we need to get there if we want a spot opposite the stand. From LH's post stated general entry isn't until 1100 but does that count for those who want a spot opposite the stand?

The chosen few as agreed with alan and myself will need to come in when you are assembling the stand early as i had reserved only the 6 places opposite the stand between the track for you
you cant come in later as that reserved space will get filled up !!!and you would have to park in the middle like everyone else
Basically the reserved parking slot is the 1st row and will be filled first so you will have to come in with the tent convoy to get a space

Which 6 are going to get these places please advise as need to make alternate arrangements, if I am not going to be allocated one of these slots.
Suspect the happy campers will be taking these slots(Sticky Stu the Aet support truck and the 2 simons)

You, SCG, Sticky & Pepe...
AET Van is catered for, I'm not sure if Stu will be in a Scoob and White Scooby Simon will be in non scoob parking...
Stu & Grant may be the 5th & 6th if they come up before the main gates open... Both need to confirm..
