Aye good time and stand looked great, wouldn't overly stress about us not being in the top 6 WE know it was fab and I'm sure anyone who went passed would agree

That camp site was spot on.

To be fair, EVERY stand had had much thought and effort put into it, so well done to ALL. Great day, despite the weather. Probably the best NBO yet.

We did end up winning a Subaru cap in the raffle

For once I think we actually left a campsite in such a state that they'd willingly have us back

So, I'm thinking something along the lines of a WYIOCender toward the back end of summer, after Thoresby and TOTB, with a Friday night camping there and a Saturday at Scott's site in Horton. Sounds like a great iea to me

Thanks to everyone for helping set up / dismantle the stand, and a big thanks to Andy and Ellie for collecting / returning most of the stuff from the unit.

Once again, top WYIOCing fun was had

Hello hello, I'm here....no don't walk off!

On the note regarding the stands, Mark brought 5 back to me today, can whoever has the rest let me know so we can arrange a pick up. I need to get them back to work by tuesday morning!

'Heard it all before' The stands are £160 each if your interested, I'm going to try and swindle a deal with work so these will be WYIOC / Turismo Garage (my forum) stands.

 

What a fab day shame about the weather I think we was robbed with the club stand as I thought we had a good chance of winning this year but there’s always next year to look forward to.

 

Well peeps it did indeed look like a superb stand,

I think Lordy had some bad feeling against the wyioc because of his incorrect reading of the cleethorpes event cancelled thread, were he threatened to ban us I am sure he will be along soon to appolagise

The bunting and bloons looked great to be fair the overall layour looks really good, the display stands were a real bonus, let alone the AET stuff

You all did yourselfs proud, seriously you did, but you know that, hsame I missed it, but bed sleep and chill out time was really on the cards after the week I had.

I must also mention that we got 1 raffle prize (nice hat Sticky!) and 1st (Gary) and 2nd (Scott & POB) in the Classic 'show and shine'. Well done guys & gals

We also raised £70 for charity from the kind donation of a power run at AET... Thanks Andy!

 

was a top day that the weather couldn't spoil even tho it had jim and sarah back and forth to there cars and the stand looked by far the best there!

 

Just a small note the two stands that didn't get placed were the Smacs and us, we both had none Subaru's in our stand this looks like a big none scorer with the NBO commitee. Other than that our stand was diffently the best set out stand.

 

Interesting. I have asked John for some constructive feedback on where we ould improve and where we fell down as it's important to understand that.

But you know what? If that's the case, then I'd be perfectly happy to not win he competition at all and have the Aton, F430, Teq and anyther interesting performance marque on because we are a car club and those members are both club members and good friends and more importantly... those cars would entertain visitors..... isn't that what we're about? Friends, cars and having a good time??

I'll see what John & the committee says though
