Trip to Litchfields / Powerstation - next Saturday
Due to a rear shock blowing a seal, I'm off to Powerstation to have a full warranty replacement and suspension health check....
I'll be going down early doors Saturday 30th and returning lunchtime(ish).. in time for the camping....
If you fancy joining me for a trip down to take a look around Litchfields and the Powerstation setup (I can take a couple of bodies as the kids will be with me...) then let me know....

OK.
Went down this morning and hit really bad weather in Brum. Had really bad weather all the way back up too...but this time I had a smile on my face..
Curtis arrived a little late (slightly worse the wear after a night out and after a full day at Brands sorting the suspension out on a car running there).. But the guy is a full pro and soon had the back seat out and the oil stained and dirty AST sets off the rear...
A quick jet wash and the units were in a vice being stripped down... Closer inspection revealed that the units had seeped oil, but not emptied like the MOT guys had said... To be fair they wouldn't have know without stripping them down... new seals were placed in, topped up with fresh oil and re-gassed... Another problem was spotted where a top mount washer had broken loose from the spot welds and was most probably the cause of the knocking..This was quickly fixed..
Then they were re-fitted and a full laser alignment check carried out. Some small adjustments to get me back to the proper Powerstation settings and with a quick spin round the block.. all the banging and noise had gone... Firmness and fun had arrived!!
The quick spin up to J9 prove the car was a s good as ever and showed that even the small re-adjustments made a big difference...
So a big thanks to Curtis and Powerstation for the friendliest and most professional service around.

Litchfield side....
Whilst there.. had a pop through to talk to Tim and Iain. Iain walks in bleary eyed after his wife gave birth to a bouncing 8lb baby Girl that same morning at 1am.. well done son...
Watched the proud owner of a nice Red Spec C set off on his journey back to Motherwell.. That would have been an interesting journey in this weather in an unfamiliar car...but Tim made sure he pointed out the DCCD's benefits of winding the diff lock up in rain..
Also had a tinker with the T25 race car (which hasn't quite gone away yet and is waiting for some work) and sat in the GP Edition Spec C... I couldn't get out again... as those Recaro's were tight!! Awesome machine though..
SNET's own car was in there too getting fettled as was a lovely looking wagon getting the Porsche brake upgrade... so there was plenty to see, smell and listen too..
Top day from the Scoob mecca
