Default Its gone

Well peeps after weeks of indicision ? and soul searching ,I have finally done the deed.

THE EVO HAS GONE .

you may all be crying, but as much as I thought it was an awesome bit of kit ,I just didnt seem to get on with it. I always thought it felt like it was just going to spit me into a wall at anytime and leave me buggered and abused in a hedge somewhere . Plus it cost a bleedin fortune to run.

Al had commented a while ago on a run that I seemed to be holding back a bit and wasnt glued to his rear end

So what do I go for now is the thing,at the moment it is the old failthfull Scumball Mondigo as Sticky named it.
just a bit restricted as itm has to be an auto/tiptronic box

I am keeping an eye on this on Ebay at the moment item no 250138949492, so if Suzie lets me spend the money on another car rather than the house alterations you never know.

See you all soon
Ian

Mate.. whatever car you drive, I hope you'll still be down to the meets and coming out on runs? Dave (Corradoboy) may agree that you have a certain skill behind that auto box mate that puts quite a few of us to shame...

I hope Suzie takes pity on us because it would be awesome to see you behind the wheel of a scoob again...

Cheers mate.. see you soon...

"May" ?? DO !!! Superb driver IMHO. Many people get scared and drop back when they see me jump at an angle and land with all 4 spinning in excess of 100, Ian closed in to give me a thumbs-up

I've heard a few people say the same of Evo's, awesomely quick, but somehow it's doesn't feel like it's you in full control and that will always make a true driver nervous. Such a shame having invested in the Tein set-up too.

You'll be back in a Scoob soon Sooner than me

I'd just like to echo the above. IIRC, I was behind Ian during that run

Get something soon mate, and in the meantime, turn up in the Mondingo.

We won't laugh

Sorry for your loss

Get an N-reg red classic estate (?) from Precious-Metal, as it's an auto...

and at £2.5K seems a tidy toy.... am I stirring it ?

Take care,

Dunx
