I used the hair dryer for mine mate and the majority of the stickers came off. The residue was cleaned off with some bug/ tar remover from Halfords.
Had a nightmare with the really really thin stickers that had been applied-so much so I had to take the car to Sticky for him to use his skills to sort. Looking at yours I can't see them being as much of an *** as mine.

Heat gun will be fine, just don't hold it in one area for too long
Tar & glue remover will shift any remaining glue. AutoGlym do a decent one, but it aint cheap.
