Seeing as the club has now picked a venue that is convenient for the po's, we're probably going to have a little drive over for the next meet. It's been so long, and so much has happened since last we spoke we'll probably end up talking our lips off.

Ant - Bubba & Manda used to come when we operated out of the Trading Post.

Unfortunately, and as you know, we in the WYIOC all like a good radio 3 session followed by some heavy discussion about the migration patterns of the lesser spotted Welsh ground ferret. Aaah, memories.

But as you see from Bubba's post, he plays loud music with shouted lyrics... some call it 'Heavy Rock', but we just call it a 'bloody noise' and we left sharpish... to Huddersfield, where the noise reduced to nearly zero and we could once again listen to the dulcet tones of a Charles Hazlewood as he explores and deconstructs great orchestral music from the last 300 years.... Superb stuff...

We thought he'd given up on this life and honestly thought he'd moved to a Radio 4 kind of life. That's the reason we came back to this side of the pond... looks like he found us though... so just pretend you like Green Day and China Drum and other such noisy stuff and you'll get on just fine...
