WYIOC to SMACS - 2nd August
I don't think we've managed to get over there yet this year . . . so I reckon its about time we dragged ourselves into gear and got over t'other side 'o Pennines
Plan is meet at the Cedar Court for 7-7.15pm for the run over, and if its not a late one, there's a good Indian just around the corner from my gaff if anyone wants a takeaway after

Alas after 4 days of thraping around the Lakes a wheel bearing has gone so better not chance it
Still did get to do Hartside pass Awesome even in the wet
Kirkstone Pass blazing sunshine, was a pleasure to drive slowly and take in the landscape
Then when got over Kirkstone pass saw these for the first time in about 20 years - very impressive
And when I'd got to Windermere and got a nice spot in the sun this made an appearance complete with Afterburners!!
OMFG - the ground was shaking, one of the most amazing things I've witnessed, pilot managed to hold it dead in the air completely vertical. Quite simply mindblowing.
So well worth a knackered wheel bearing all in all Think I'll have to arrange a big Lakes run out last year, some cracking drives and pleasant days out. Nice to have some fun before environMENTALISTS & Health n Safety nutjobs put paid to it all.
