Thanks for the warm welcome guys, and Claire!
Glad you approve of the car. It's the first Impreza that I've ever used on a daily basis and I must admit, I love it. Except for the fuel guage that is!
I'm fitting a straight through centre section tomorrow so hopefully that'll release a bit more of the burble.
Only problem is that I can't stop driving it.....only had it a week and it'll be due it's 1k service soon! ....but it's worth it!

Welcome to the WYIOC...

Saw the car at the Jap meet and it is pretty god damn fabulous,
I do agree it is missing the burble....we had the same problem when we bought our wagon, but that is easily solved

Hi simon nice to see you on here.

The STi splitter looks good on the front of the Wagon

you might want to put up a how to guide in case others are interested in doing the same.

Steve, the splitter is easy, I fitted an HT AUTOS one to mine, under the front bumper there are 4 - 2 @ euther side plastic bumper screws that can easily be removed, the splitter then has holes already pre drilled to match these, just attatch the plastic bumper screws through which will support the splitter, then in the kit should be some self tapping screws, these screw easily into the bumper and are hidden from sight.... it is held flush and strong enough by these but you can use some silocone seal if wanted

The STI splitter is not designed to fit 5 door models due to them having a different wing and bumper design to that of the saloons. However, with a bit of bending and some self tappers, they can be made to fit!

Dunx, black may well be faster, but grey is easier to keep clean!

he's right dunx black is higher maintenance in time and money blue / grey / silver are the easier ones to do

Thumbs up Nice car mate!

Think I saw you at the showroom not long ago, spoke to you about you racing the westfields... have you still got the Lotus Exige as well? I was with my pal, we were the rally slags... mine was in for a brake squeal... which is still there by the way! ahem

Any way.. Nice car and look forward to meeting you again.
