As it isnt far away....

I am a WYIOC and now a NYSOC...

As a biker I used to annually do the Easter Egg Run to Martin House taking easter eggs... as most of you know the Scoob is to keep me off bikes after my accident which nearly took my life....

Well I would like to do a Present run to Martin House seeing as I cant do it anymore on the bikes.


I am aware that this was done last year by the WYIOCS partly organised by S3emo who is a NYSOC....

What I would like to suggest is that we do this as a joint club outing...

This is for terminally ill children and I would hope that we can pull this off together and work together on this one please

Hadnt thought about sponsers Si... we were going to get members to maybe spend a few pounds... Its an idea though

Its great seeing their faces though ...

 

Did this last year,was agreat day out for us and the children at Martins house...

I'd be up for this again...

 

This is planned to go ahead on the 16th December the sunday and then to Squires for a coffee....

Would anyone like to come with us?

Plan is for each member to buy a small present for a child and wrap it and then we will deliver them...

Come on guys a colouring book and pens in woolworths is only a couple of quid or a selection box... need to put a limit on it of no more than £5-00 so all the presents will be roughly same value.. you can buy more than one if you want but you arnt obligated to

Claire I am away this particular weekend, however, as you have said it is a worthwhile, well more than worthwhile cause.

Gratefully accepted Mick . Will see you sometime before to pick them up. Would be nice for the clubs to do this together.

The kids are not at the house during the christmas period as the house is having some work done on it, but they have asked if they can have the presents before christmas and then will invite us back in the summer for the kids to see the cars which we have agreed and will welcome anyone who wishes to join us then for the same run again

I used to do a similar run when i had the bikes - Marthas in aspley (she no longer has the bike gear shop) used to arrange a run out and collected gifts beforehand

It was a good cause but the shop isn't there anymore and i don't have a bike either?
