If you want to see the new Impreza up close
Saw a new 2008 Impreza in black at KT Greens this weekend.
Not ugly, just very bland - So much like a Mazda 3.
Good chance to get up close and decide for yourself...

I spotted Triangle's demonsterator in Chesterfield on Friday. Only noticed it because of the stickers plastered down the side. Far from a head turner.

If Tiff's comments on last weeks 5th Gear are anything to go by, then I fear for the long term viability of Subaru as a performance marque...
I bet Mitsubishi are well chuffed... Subaru have just ruled themselves out of a rally brand name that was theirs by sheer weight of numbers (in an area that only had two real contenders), simple economics and a car that was really better than an Evo from the daily useability and driveability of the thing...
I really hope the STI is something much, much better and the likes of Prodrive and Litchfield / Powerstation can really pull something out of the bag, because I seriously think the Evo X is the car people will go for...
I know I would...

Called in at KT's for a 3 minute nosey last night and I can't say it's any better in the metal than the abortion it looks in the pics. If the STi drives how we'd all love it to then I may forgive it its looks, but I can't see the number of Golf/Focus/Astra etc drivers buying the base models outweighing the performance crowd who are going to desert them in vast numbers. The STi and 3rd party derivatives are gonna have to be very special and significantly better than the 'X' to stand a chance in the market. For me, a Forester STi or EvoX are much higher on the want list for now.
