i aint got no dates to mind mate... i think something for maybe after xmas would be better, saving for prezzies etc? plus its me birthday on jan the 12th. but...as always, am easy! see wot other people think...

Well the WYIOC is a family orientated club so it'll be for everyone, members and their families.

 

Here's a suggestion I was gonna do for ages until I dropped out of events planning for the club. The Anchor Inn just outside Gargrave would be a superb central location for WYIOC and SMACS, and leave us in close proximity to some of the country's finest driving roads, Ribblehead and Buttertubs. A steady run up the A65 (well Policed ) for most and then the adventurous could head out into the wilds before or after the grub

Alternatively, we did The Snake Pass Inn a year or two back which the SMACS came to. Strines is always exciting, especially in the winter

Since we do trips, meets and runs all year.
Wouldn,t it be nice to have a Christmas Do,
that involves no kids and no driving.
Just a bunch of mates having a drink and a laugh

 

I was thinking the same. Theres loads of drive outs / track days all year round and its not very sociable just driving all the time. Personally I'd prefer to meet up and have a good ol' laugh.

 

Al did try to arrange this once or twice for a meal and crawl around Wakey, but it never got off the ground. Feel free to try again though.

 

If we had one in huds as there are now several members that live in close proximity there would be plenty of parking for cars and also place to sleep

 

well do that... a lads n lasses night out! thats why i said over 18's or kids asweell.. we could have two do's.... one with the kids (meal at a kids pub or bowling), and then an adult night out round huddersfield or something... obv normy is quite a way a way from hudds, but i'm sure people wont mind sharing a taxi with me will they, esp if your goin back over normy way ??
