You seem to have more or less answered your own question.

I would suggest booking a nice quiet hotel for a romantic weekend away with the lovely lady. If you play your cards close to your chest you could perhaps get everything sorted without her even knowing anything about it, and surprise her at the last minute.

Take a look at some places in the Lake District of the Dales if you fancy something quiet, or why not pull out all the stops and go for a city break in London or Paris. You could even take her to a show whilst you're there.

If none of that appeals then I get a generous "high volume" user discount at Ann Summers in the Ridings Centre, Wakefield. I could meet you there after work one evening
