Was having a little chat with jade about the C2C we did in the summer, and how fantastic the beach fire was, and I know most that went would agree, and indeed it was mentioned at the time.

So...

Just getting feedback at the moment, but how do we feel about doing something similar one Friday night during next summer, but this time with drinks and a plan to kip on (or near) the beach. If we look to do it at the same place we can then spen Sat and Sun in the Lakes?

It was bloody hard work at the time, and the timing was poor, the weather got progressively worse throught the event, but FooMee, was it memorable for ALL the right reasons. Got home, had 2-3 Magners and slept for ever

 

There was talk of a reverse C2C on or around the shortest day of the year (Dec 21st) starting in the East for the sunrise, and ending in the West.

We WOULD need fires for that though

Was last trip I went on with WYIOC and was brilliant, I was the chief firewood supplier 1 boot full, dont last long with Paul about.
Was very tiring. But had a few hours kip in Whitby car park then spent the day in Whitby. Scott scared an old lady to death with his exhaust going through a pieceful old village. Plus we had a nice blast up the motoerway at crazy o'clock in the morning.
