Now that I've got the second camera and planning to get more, I'm trying to put together a WYIOC DVD with various videos of the runs out (when I go on some) and the track days etc.

One of the options is a slideshow of members cars. I've got the pics from the WYIOC website but alot of them are out of date or no longer members.

Hows about a big meet up for all new pics which can go on the WYIOC website and to go on the DVD?? Plus its an excuse for us all to meet up for a socialable one

Cool Hopefully I'll have another cam and recording device later in the year as well so there'll be a fair bit of footage to go through. Though it'll take ages to set the cars up. lol

I'll have a go at making a spec page that I can load the pics to, this give the slideshow a better quality look.

Lol, yes, I'm sending the footage of the two DV tapes down to my mate who works for MTV, he'll put them onto dvd disc for me so I can transfer it to this dvd project.

You may want to get in touch with SCG as he's got some of the older WYIOC footage that you may be able to use.

Otherwise, we'll do our best to get some newer stuff for you to use...

I have the last WYIOC dvd that was done as well, was very well made indeed but hopefully I'll be making a Cover for it too, why not eh. I like doing these sort of projects

 

Rich. As per Alan's comments I've still got all the old footage plus quite a lot of photos. This year I only did a few videos these were; RWYB March, NBO, April Trackday and a run me and Peppe did. Unfortunately my CD/DVD writer is screwed so I can't burn these for you but if you wanted to pop round with a memory stick or alternative I can give you whatever you want. I'm in Gildersome.

Right, I've spoken to my mate at MTV about the intro for the DVD. For what I've got planned I needed advice on how to produce it, I've been assured its fairly straight forward. Though its something people needed to know about (progress) I don't want to divulge too much into the details.

The important bit is I need a car for the first part of it, one in better condition than mine, to do some close up filming (vehicle static).

If possible, I'd like one of each age of Impreza to pan over but may only be able to do one car. I don't want to insult any members cars by only picking one myself.

Who would be able to bring their car to a location for the day for it?

OR whos car would you most like to see in the intro?

 

This is getting more like a Hollywood blockbuster by the minute.

If you want the best looking and fastest outright car in the club, then the Pug will be at Elvington on Saturday

 

Oh, and on a serious note...

It'd have to be the Crafts Monster, Scott's and Ian's (if it's mobile) IMHO

Paul Crafts Group B monster
Chieftain's WRX 5 Door
Sticky's STI
Scotts 5 door
Stu's 3Dr STI
Steve Jacksons 22B

These are my personal preferences but thats not to say nobody elses isn't worthy, so please make suggestions. I would need the car to be available at some point though.

How about doing a personal DVD for every member

 

LMAO, you know how long that'd take?!

I'd love to do the 22B as I've never been able to get close to one but theres so many other great cars in the club too.
