Last time we did block the fuel terminal's everybody benefited like you andy because we got a cut in road tax we was paying £3250 in road tax a year so the goverment cut it for us down to £1250 a year so it does achieve something which in turn helped not to put the prices up to the public like it is now everything is moved by road on trucks. Food to the shops your bins been emptied everything that you buy from a shop has been moved on the road hope this enlightens you abit andy.

aye precisely, i have quite a few friends in haulage, and its such a pain to spend so much money on fuel.
last week in US they were complaining that they had to pay $2 for a gallon of gas we pay the equivalent of about $8 a gallon!!!
go for it i say, just keep topped up as much as you can and heavens sake dont panic buy!!! if all else fails we can all just stay at home and enjoy a forced chrimbo holiday!

well i must say the petrol protest was a complete failure, from what i've heard the people who turned up could be counted on one hand at each refinery and the amount of police at one protest was a "bored looking plod in a van"
why are we (the english people) so half arsed at doing anything??!?! there's no wonder the government rapes us at the petrol pumps
booo at taxes!

cos everything we vote for linz, never happens, and the government always do there own thing... its not a peoples government no more, we have no voice... they do their own thing and we follow...
i must admit, you could tell the protest had failed, i didnt see a single que outside any petrol station round waki or ponte... business as usual!!
sorry to sound negative and pessamistic guys, but nothing will change until brown and his tagnuts decide to call it quits, and we get someone decent in power... but who... thats the question!
