Another Christmas is almost upon us, another good year under our belts, highs point’s low points and man points

I have not been about so much a lately with work and illness, however I am here and just thought I would create a thread to give us all a chance to express the seasons greetings.

We wish you a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy prosperous New Year

Sincerely hoping Santa brings you every gift your heart desires and of course those surprises you never even knew about.

One of the greatest gifts we all can be sure of receiving is friendship, and the knowing that we have some superb members who will do there best to help in time of need through 2008.

Thanks to you all for just being you, thanks to my close friend (s) (how I wished I could of put a plural in there) for your time through 2007, additional thanks to Andy and Ellie at AET for there time, patience, and help in trying to get the clubs best car on the straight and narrow or fast and sideways

I would like to name drop everyone in here but its easier to look in the club members area if your in there your in here.

Me and Andy would just like to say that its been our first year in the club and when we joined we were a bit sceptical as to what it was going to be like but it was one of the best decisions we have made since being together and its all down to you guys for being great friends and company.

We have had some really good times this year and we are really looking forward to next years events (Stelvio here we come!! )

Well what can I say,
Met Alan after buying my impreza and came to my first day out, I believe in April an early morning run then to the 2NZ.
Made to feel welcome by everyone straight away, So welcome in fact i paid full membership on the second event @ Nostell.
Not looked back since.
We have made some fantastic friends and everyone is there to help if needed.
The whole club is going from strength to strength with several new members joining lately and immediately gettin stuck in.
Lets keep it up!

I think you can add a s to Friend becuase being close is a relative thing. I think you'll find we have a fantastic bunch of people as members with a large amount being close friends because YOU KNOW, you can count on them to support you when you REALLY need it.

This has ben proved many times when people have rallied around to help some one needing either a small favour, or one that required a lot of time energy and money... all with no regard to themselves.

Some may be closer than others, but I'm proud to say I'm a close friend to them all....

It has truly been a pleasure this year meeting most of you. I shall correct this in the New Year.

Even though I`m not a fully fledged paid up member of this club. You have always been most approachable. I bought the badge though

As some of you may know, I have had various traumas over the past year or so with myself been ill & my wife. Therefore we haven`t been able to attend as many outings as other things have complicated this. This will hope to be rectified in the new year as plans are afoot for a bigger YorkScoobs.

Well as 2007 comes to a close, we can look back on some good days, and some great days. My first year in the WYIOC and definately not my last, I've enjoyed everyday of it and I hope that 2008 brings even bigger smiles and better times with the club.

After the things that happened on the MG club I was a member of previously I was apprehensive about joining another club, I so so glad I did. I've noticed changes in myself and the way I look at things differently, all for the better (I hope) This I am proud to say has been partly down to been a member in this club...no thats wrong, this FAMILY!

I hope everyone has a brilliant Christmas and we all can leave any low points in our lives in 2007 and look forward to great years ahead.

Yeh Merry Xmas everyone. Don't think I've made an appearance since NBO with one thing and another - mainly that bloody w**king that I do so much . Still undecided about getting rid of the old girl (metal variety) but hopefully she'll stay and before we know it the nights will be light again and much merriment can be had
