No me neither, not heard from Apple for many moons and not Harry since the news of accident, hope he is well the road to recovery by now ?

 

I spoke to Apple a few weeks ago and after some issues... he's looking to come back to the Ship very soon.

Sticky spoke to Chris a few months ago, but I'm not sure how he's doing since his accident or if he plans to come back now were close again... I hope so...

 

will make an effort to call to see apple this weekend.

I saw Apple in Sainsburys just before Xmas, he was doing well and as Alan says he is likely to make an appearance at the Ship.

If you are all really unlucky I might be out and about in the summer too.

Ere, anyone would think I've been away...

It's good to be remembered and I'm planning on dropping in to meets but for the first few months this year I'm on a training course in Darlington the last week of the month so don't get keep me a pint sat on the bar Are the OLPs (or should that be OAPs about to ride again? )

Al rang me in November last year and I was sat around the marina on holiday watching the yachts bobbing up and down - pity it was persisting down profusely, blowing a gale and on the west coast of Scotland rather than Monaco (we can't all afford hols like CB etc )

Called in at Autosport yesterday to have a squint at the new STi - better than the piccies but need to wait for the deluxe version in 6 months approx and then decide between STi (whichever flavour) or go down the Spec B route if I can afford any option

What's happened to Harry? Do I assume you mean H-B of old? I was supposed to be going out for a pint with him quite a while back but it fell through and never happened PM me if you want to keep it off the board.

In brief, Chris (Harryboy) had an unpleasent coming together with a Beemer whilst out on his pushbike.

I've not spoken to him since it happened (Back in early December IIRC) but I do recall him saying that Kathy and himself were going off to Fiveriefe for a few weeks around Christmas time, so he may well still be over there.

Nice to know you're still out there somewhere, and here's to the not too distant future

 

Just happened to drop in via an old Firefox session on the laptop and found the thread Must have felt the ears burning instead of radar.

Seems like there's been a lot happening both locally and on the BBS as I've just read the "you've been sold" thread.

Aye, things have moved on with SNET giving us a club area... but the club itself is as it always was.. you may notice a few new faces, but the OLP spirit is still there...

We had the wandering habit for a while, but it'll feel especially strong now that we're back over to Hudders way and the Ship has a good feel about it....

Looking forward to seeing you back at a meet again chap...

Hi Apple, look forward to seeing you soon, I joined (God nearly a year ago now!!!!!!!!) And all I can say is WHAT A FANTASTIC CLUB There has been several chages since me and Flis joined but we all keep going from strength to strength.
Al is right with the new venue THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC and the alcohol is good too, Apart from that the venue is ideal for adults and Kids. Both of us are really looking forward to the up coming events and meets and as said above really look forward to seeing you and car at some.

 

We need to keep an eye on HB first his doggy removed a digit then the bm incident,,, whatever next.... Mmmmm i'll have his Audi .. :-) bless... hope to to both apple and Chris this year.
