Evening all
Hi all
Still getting to grips with the site but thought i'd say hello
Had my 05 WRX PPP for a few weeks now and loving every minute
Been spending my time on here out in the big bad world of scoobynet not knowing this place even existed :-)
Had a few waves in and around the wakefield area which is very welcoming
Hopefully chat to some of you more soon, I might even make a meet (I never do but it seems the right thing to say
)
My car history is a vx220, a saxo vtr (oh the shame!!!) and before that its not worth knowing

I think mods are a long way off for me yet (all my money has gone on the car and insurance)
An STI8 spoiler is top of my shopping list but don't think thats gunna happen soon (how long til xmas??? haha)

have a browse around and don't think twice about posting.
We have a great set of lads and lasses in the club, I am certain you will enjoy your stay, just get stuck in mate.

If I had a £1 for everytime i've seen "try the search function" I could probably afford that STI8 Spoiler haha
Always made me laugh as it was always the people who loved to show just how knowledgable they were that used to say it!!

Youv'e checked in at the right place,we don't claim to be the biggest or the best scoob club,,,,,but you certainly won't find a more honest,decent and crazy set of folk out there....
Like people have said ,don't be affraid to post and just turn up at one of our many meets and many of the events planned,2008 is going to be a great year for the mighty WYIOC.......
Hope to see you soon.....nice motor as well by the way....

Landy... I'm in Wakey too. Used to live right next to the Church opposite the Holmfield Arms... now live a few hundred yards away..... I'll keep an eye out for you... though I may have seen you the other day.... 
We don't meet at the Holmfield now as we only met there as a convoy meeting point to head out to Huddersfield. We meet at The Trading Post in Cas to start the convoy shoot over to Squires Inn, in Sherburn...
We had just moved West to our new club home at the Ship Inn @ Mirfield, but it was recently flooded, so we're back at Squires until it's refurbished.
You may have got the feeling already, but you'll be made very welcome by simply the best set of lads and lasses... all down to Earth and I'm sure you'll get on just fine..
Just get yourself across to any of the meets, doo's or events advertised on the forum or on the sticky threads.... No need for subs or anything like that, just come along and see if the social scene is you and then look to pay up and and get loads of benefits if you enjoy it.....
Look forward to seeing you around Wakey or at the next meet...

Welcome to the club, we are in normanton (AET-Turbos).
Its a superb club to be and the track days are more then fun to come to with plenty of passenger rides
Lots of camping in summer with our very own pyramaniac "Crafts" - we'll not go cold
Your more than welcome to call in for a cuppa and chat anytime and its the monthly meet as everybody has said earlier in thread - it would be a really good place to start (thats where we first went) coz alot of us will be there and you can see for yourself how nice we all are

I live in stanley, moved down here from altofts about a year ago but grew up in thornes
I work up at the airport so have a bit of a trek each day but a nice car makes the journey a bit more bearable (although my pocket is feeling it since the change to the scoob!) Will keep my peepers open for you when i'm out and about!!
