Leeds Police have treated themselves to a new toy
Spotted queuing at the lights by Living World in Armley, a shiny silver Mitsi Evo IX, replete with battenburg and lights
Be on the lookout

Yup, saw it today, along with an 04 plate Evo 260, a 54 plate Sti and a couple of 06 plate T5's, all within a mile of each other near Living World.
There was an ANPR van parked up outside Armley Park, and they were pulling all sorts over. Had a small convo with one of the PC's in the T5's. He did'nt seem to like the fact my car does'nt have a front plate

Was'nt too impressed, but blagged it and said I'd just caught it coming out of Gotts Park Golf Course, was they are re doing the road up there
Must get it stuck back on
Rather have been pulled by the EVO, as it did look nice, even if it was covered in dayglo and lights

Nice to know there's a few less muggers, rapists, burglars, drug dealers etc on the streets, along with all those un-taxed, uninsured, unlicensed and un-MOT'd cars
I think a Downing Street petition to remove traffic offences from the Police crime statistics is needed. If they can catch 10m motoring offences which are usually cut & dried charged, prosecuted and guilty, it means they can forget 10m other offences and still get a 50% success rate on solving crime. REAL crime thus gets ignored in favour of the easy quick pull

I saw it too, parked up on double yellows further down Armley Rd. It said South Yorks Police on it so don't think its a perminant fixture, hope not anyway.

A couple of years back we were at the sister-out-laws in Bramley and a neighbour was complaining about the Plod not coming out when 4 ******* were jumping on the roof of her car. The next day there were 5 cars ensuring nobody misused the '+2' lane down Stanningley Road through Armley
