Default Your Top 5 Fiction Books...

Was following this topic on another forum and thought it would be interesting to see your top 5.... My collection grows faster than I can read it, and this list changes often, but I'm always on the lookout for something different...

Mine:

The City and the Stars (the long version) - Arthur C Clarke (I love Clarke)
The End of Faith - Sam Harris (non-fiction, but awesome...everyone should read this)
LOTR - J.R.R.Tolkien (Hobbit too)
The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy - Douglas Adams (I love Adams as well as Pratchett)
Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell - Susanna Clarke (quirky, but very good...)

Red Storm Rising - Tom Clancy
LOTR - J.R.R.T
Storming Intrepid - Payne Harrison
Flight of the Old Dog/Night of the Hawk - Dale Brown
The Hunt for Red October - Tom Clancy (again)

Don't have time to read like I used to

I'm not much of a fictional book reader, I tend to read more autobiographies and factual books, ancient Japan and Sun Tzu's Art of War been favourite subjects but I have read a few fictional books...

1. Rainbow Six - Tom Clancey (read it about 6 times!)
2. Do Andriods Dream of Electric sheep (novel that Bladerunner was based on) - Philip k. Dick
3. Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
4. Initial D manga series - not technically a novel but close enough
5. LayerCake

Thats about it, as said I don't read that many fictional novels...

I'll probably get the p extracted for this but...

Davinci Code
Hobbit (First book I ever read that I just couldn't put down)
The curious incident of the dog in the night (Very odd!)
Any Bond novel by Fleming
And non-fiction... A brief History of Almost Everything (Full of incomprehensibly big numbers)

If I had the time I'd currently be wading through a bunch of biogs including Wogan, Peel, Bruce (Forsyth), Peter Sellers & Michael Kaine

PoB, I print most of those and can confirm they are entirely fiction

Except the last one, that is clearly factual as you always look good xx
