As you can tell by the answers above, yep they sure did, it was and still is arguably The 'iconic' colour, from Classic through to present day.

A guy called scott and his good lady have one in blue they post as skywalker and POB, and Steve Jackson has the daddy of all classic's a 22B respect

Sonic Blue was the best IMO although DBM is a nice colour,
