WYIOC IRC Chat channel // room
I have an irc server running on my website, with bots etc,
I can let you use the server for your irc channel, or help setting up a shell to get one running,
If you have no idea what im on about, think of it as a big msn meeting room where you can all chat in the same channel, or private message users live,
take a look at my web-chat applet - My-Gamebox - Community :: Chat
or via mIRC - irc://irc.my-gamebox.com/WYIOC
or self setup:
irc server = irc.my-gamebox.com port = 6667
channel = #WYIOC
I can set up ops and chanserv can control the users privaledges,
If you have an irc channel already setup, sorry for stepping on anyones toes

Internet Relay Chat
Devleopd way back in the History of the Internet itself as a chat mechanism for operators and universities. Still used today with 10's of thousands of 'channels' available serving all sorts of content from some real bad stuff to general chit chat...
Not user friendly really and is a pretty technical area of the Internet where peer to peer and other file transfering goes on....
TBH, MSN and the other online chat progs have come a lot further and are much friendlier to use. But for people who want to 'programme' their own styles and servers then IRC allows an owner freedom to do what he wants if you know how to setup a serverand programme in open source languages.
Very interesting if you're into that sort of low level, hardcore (not in the **** sense) 'undernet' use.

I see you're struggling on the site there mate
Great idea from bAN01TgAZ, but Rich is right. Unless you're pretty technically minded and enjoy typing in all your commands rather than pressing a button then MSN is better for you....

i'll leave the web-applet and channel live,
admittedly so, it can be a bit daunting registering your nick and identifying each time you log in, its as user friendly as can be...
The offer stands, use it if you want to
