Hi im going to look at a K reg impreza wrx on saturday, could you please advise me on what to look out for while im looking around the car.

A slipping clutch is the big thing, Impreza eat clutches when driven hard so make sure you get a good test drive (drive it yourself!!) and make sure the power is getting put to the road when you put your foot down. If it is slipping and you still buy it, expect a £300+ repair bill, more if the flywheel has been damaged from it.

As with any car, make sure theres no white gunk in the oil as its very expensive for an engine rebuild on an impreza with there been two banks of cylinders.

Make sure theres no excessive noise from the turbo and that the car pulls hard whilst on boost.

One of the problems I had on mine was the radiator splitting on the plastic sides. This is purely down to age so check the radiator for splits in the plastic side walls.

This is about all I can think of but I'm sure somebody can add to it.

The rx8 is still on finance so i cant really sell privately. im looking 2 cut down on my finances abit so im looking at getting and older scooby so i dont have 2 take finance out again.

its not the fact i cant afford 2 run the car i can but i was paying finance on top of running the car aswell
