Default Coldplay - Viva La Vida or Death & All His Friends

Awesome.

One of the finest albums I've ever heard....

Sticky - You must use Viva La Vida as a Stelvio track!!

Bubba, Bubba, Bubba..... Take a listen mate.. then listen again.

As children of the 60s and 70s we grew up to greats such as the Beatles, Stones, Floyd, The Who and I have some pity for todays wannabe bands. This album really takes me back and brings back some solid Floyd and even early Genesis memories. I really think this album is a classic.

'Lost' and 'Lovers In Japan' (all the first 6 really (I'm changing this as I re-listen again...) are particular favourites... There's plenty of catchy and anthemic stadium filling stuff on there. Viva La Viva being one.... In fact there's not one duff one...

You listening? I'm sure we'll see one or two in your set....

It's a shame Chris Martin has developed into such a whining sanctimonious pr!ck, public school educated and never had a proper job in his life, he now preaches from his ivory tower. I do quite like their sound and will download and listen to their new offering, but I just can't seem to like CM, sorry.

Got it today, and after 3 1/2 listens I'm now back on to Rush of Blood.

Will give it a go later in the week, but so far, it's not exactly the latest Editors album

Don't let the personality detract from the album.... rich sounding and superbly produced by Brian Eno...

I must look at the Editors album too...
