Hey up guys,

Me, Andy and James are going to the Ford show tomorrow at Croft (I'm sure they are racing on track too)

We are going to get there for lunch time so if anybody fancies going they are more than welcome

Ellie

I'd love to come, but work prevails, all sorts to do, including some logo designs so it's a miss from me I'm afraid

Not quite as complex, and not animated, but yeah, that's the idea, but try drawing one 12' long that twists and turns to fit down the side of an Evo...

Still a work in progress...

I'm no egg-spurt, but a mate who used to use Illustrator (aaarrrggghhh!!!! Adobe ) used to pass time by re-creating the complex patterns on bank-notes. Using the duplicate and distort tools he could knock up quite complex looking ones in a few minutes. Looking at that, once you have one pair of red and blue spheres it should be fairly simple to generate a duplication routine which would get the desired effect. As I said, I couldn't do it, and anyway, I've only got a 23" monitor

24" here, so stick it up yer ****! Woohoo, got one over on the Mac dude

If it were that simple I'd have knocked it up in no time, but the molecules (or whatever) had to follow a set path down the car (both strands) AND be linked correctly. These things don't just 'happen' you know, there's hours of thought go into each and evry one of my little creations.

Not that any ****er ever notices. Sometimes I wonder why I bother.

I once printed bank notes The paper was delivered by mistake Normally if you even try and order that linen $h!t customs start watching you 24/7 Did the watermark (baby oil ) and the dotted silver line (foil blocked with opaque white over it ) and finished one side, then we cacked ourselves and guillotined the lot

We did it all litho with some letterpress techniques. Took us weeks to do one side as we worked out how to recreate some of the effects. Very difficult, probably cheaper to just acquire the real thing TBH

Remember I'm on a Mac, so I'm also surfing Briskoda, AVForums, AppleInsider, MacRumors and watching either YouTube or iPlayer whilst the Mac does the w*rk for me

Educational web-sites are a good source of material for teachers, etc.
