What Car? Fuel Protest Petition - Do your bit...
If you can't make any of the demonstrations, then why not spend 30 secs filling out a petition?

I'm not so sure.
With the Truck driver protests, the ever increasing commentary in the media, these petitions and the fact that Labour are rightly getting a good kicking in the polls (with fuel costs as one reason people want rid of these cretins), I think they will listen. It will most probably be a delay in the 2p price rise rather than a real effort to reduce the extortionate tax, but we'll see.
I actually wrote to Mary Creagh, my Local MP about fuel costs, various car taxes, Scameras and the conditions of the road and I got back the most obvious 'I haven't read you letter beyond the first line and I don't care' mass produced response you've ever seen.
Out of touch? Of course she is. Hopefully she wont be around much longer either. Then we'll see if the next lot make some difference.

They may want to keep their John Lewis list !
Seriously, how could they NOT realise that ever increasing fuel taxation would push up the price of food in the shops... they could have floated the revenue on top of any price increases, so maybe £1.05 instead of £1.30+

at least this will make sure they dont put the added 2p fuel tax on
as if that will make any difference i want to see 79.9p a litre again that will do me .
the same is happening all over the world but i think we are at the top of the list of price and tax
